Paul Levinsohn is currently the Managing Principal of the New York City Regional Center. The NYCRC received designation from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services as an approved Regional Center.  The NYCRC invests foreign capital in areas of high unemployment throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx.

During his career in real estate, Paul has owned, developed, and acted as counsel for a numerous real estate transactions throughout the New York metropolitan area.

In 2004, Paul and a team of investors privatized one of the biggest convenience store/gas station chains in the northeast. In addition, Paul oversaw the acquisition of the assets of a New England-based nutritional supplement company that sells product to top retailers such as Wal-Mart, Walgreens, The Vitamin Shoppe and CVS.

Prior to his career in real estate, Paul was appointed Chief Counsel to the Governor of New Jersey.  In this position, he was responsible for overseeing a staff of twenty-one attorneys and managing all legal operations for the Governor’s Office. Also, from 1995 to 1997, Paul served as clerk for Judge Anne E. Thompson, US District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Paul was a charter corps member for Teach for America, a national teacher program designed to train and supply teachers to rural and inner city areas. During this time, Paul taught high school American History in Warren County, North Carolina.

Paul Levinsohn earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University along with his J.D. and M.A. (political science.) Paul also was also appointed to a three-year term on Duke’s Board of Trustees.
